How purchases, shipping, returns and refunds are handled for products linked from WesternTechy.
1. Introduction
WesternTechy is primarily an affiliate content site recommending third-party products for renter-friendly smart home upgrades. We do not usually sell physical products directly. Most purchases made through links on our site are completed on third-party vendor websites (Amazon, retailer sites, manufacturer stores).
2. Purchases from Third-Party Sellers
When you click an affiliate link on WesternTechy and purchase a product, your contract is with the seller (Amazon or another retailer). That seller's shipping, return, and warranty policies apply. We do not control seller pricing, shipping times, or return windows.
Before buying, please review the seller's shipping and returns policy on the product page. If you need to return an item, contact the seller directly and follow their instructions.
- Amazon: Use Your Orders → Return/Replace items → follow instructions. Amazon often provides prepaid return labels for eligible returns.
- Manufacturer site: Check the product page for returns, or contact their support team directly.
- Third-party marketplaces: Return policies vary by seller; check the seller's profile and policies before purchasing.
3. Shipping Information
Shipping speed, carriers, tracking, and costs are set by the seller. Typical shipping steps:
- Order confirmation and estimated delivery dates are provided by the seller after purchase
- Tracking numbers are provided by the carrier or seller; use the tracking link in your order confirmation
- International orders may incur customs, duties, or taxes that are the buyer's responsibility

4. Returns & Refunds
